I know its a bit late in the season to be harping on about A/W '10 collections but theres just something about Richard Nicoll that gets me all flustered. Lashings of velvet, corsetry and draping all in a fabulously desirable jewel colour palette.

I was under the naive impression that only boys let you down but it's not true men do too.

I thought I had it cracked; Dye my hair... Get my body back in shape... Get my confidence back... SORTED

Well not so, turns out making yourself more appealing to the opposite (or same for some of you) sex just invites in more people that disappoint.

I've tried making an effort, being forward, chatty and charming. I've tried playing hard to get, attempting a mysterious persona (ha). It seems no matter what I do, I'm always faced with the same situation. "I don't want to disappoint you." "I don't want to waste your time."

Nowadays it seems like its not about what you are doing wrong, its about what you must not being doing right. Since I seem to be under the impression that if I was that worth it, that you'd be interested and therefore you wouldn't be wasting my time.

The 1st.

Finally i've settled down and decided to blog. The day is young and after sifting through pages on Lookbook, i am ready to commit.

So my boyfriend and I went to paris for new year and it was very enjoyable. However we left shopping till New Years Day, which we didn't know was like a bank holiday in France so no shops open. We'd planned to visit these 3 vintage shops in the area and well to say the least i was distraught it was our last full day so we were not able to go back. After a lot of crying (on my part) we decided that to ease my mind we would go to where the shops were and i'd just claw at the windows and imagine the beautiful clothes inside. So off we go to the first shop "Fripes Star" and in some magical occurrence  its open and not only was this one open, ALL THE VINTAGE STORES WERE OPEN. I cried some more. Beautiful, beautiful bargains. Furs, denims, coats, dresses, millions of authentic french stripe t-shirts and jumpers.
